As a Security Officer - Armed Bank Lobby in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a leading financial institution location, you will play a key role in greeting visitors, managing access, and providing exceptional customer service. You will help to deter security-related incidents by remaining visible and attentive in this high-profile environment. This is an armed post. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk of a financial institution.
  • Monitor access to the location by verifying identification, issuing visitor badges, and maintaining visitor logs as required.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Assist with emergency response activities, such as guiding occupants during evacuations and/or alerting appropriate personnel.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.
  • Operate security-related equipment such as surveillance cameras, access control systems, and communication devices as needed.
  • Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized entry and provide a welcoming experience for all visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess an armed guard card or license.
  • Have at least 6 months of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
  • Provide a DD214 with honorable discharge or an associate's degree or 60 college credits or a police academy certificate or a corrections academy certificate.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
