As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an educational location, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and responding to inquiries from students, staff, and visitors at the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the campus grounds and building perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Follow site-specific policies and procedures, reporting any unusual or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting as directed by Allied Universal and/or campus protocols.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying identification as required.
• Support emergency response activities in accordance with Allied Universal and location-specific guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
