As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a strong, visible presence at financial institution locations. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the financial institution's premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas to help to deter suspicious activity and maintain order.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of observations, incidents, and security-related activities as required by site policies.
  • Interact with visitors, employees, and/or vendors in a courteous and professional manner, addressing questions or concerns as needed.
  • Remain alert and aware of surroundings at all times during patrols and while stationed at designated posts.
  • Carry and responsibly handle an assigned firearm in accordance with Allied Universal policies and applicable laws.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
