Job Description


As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Financial in Malvern, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine patrols at a leading financial institution location, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activities and identifying potential security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help control access and promote a secure environment within the financial institution location.
  • Complete detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, observations, and incidents as required by Allied Universal and site guidelines.
  • Work collaboratively with site personnel and/or local law enforcement as needed to address security-related incidents and maintain order.
  • Remain alert and prepared to respond to a variety of situations, including emergencies or disturbances, in accordance with established Allied Universal protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Two or more years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience are required.
  • Graduation from a law enforcement or military police training program or an equivalent program is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Act 235 qualification is required for positions in Pennsylvania.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
