As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct regular patrols and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. This armed position involves maintaining a secure environment, responding to incidents, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies in accordance with Allied Universal standards, providing customer service to clients and visitors.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for armed personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the logistics and distribution location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and control entry and exit of individuals and/or vehicles as required, maintaining awareness of site operations.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of security-related activities, incidents, and observations during each shift.
• Collaborate with site staff and Allied Universal management to address security-related concerns and support emergency response activities as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
