As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining visible and approachable. You will conduct routine patrols, support a welcoming environment, and deliver exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, helping to maintain a secure environment within the healthcare location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter prohibited items and/or unauthorized individuals from entering restricted areas.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and/or suspicious activity according to site protocols.
  • Work closely with hospital staff and visitors to address questions and provide guidance in accordance with site-specific expectations.
  • Remain alert to changes in the environment and communicate any security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and/or site leadership as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 6 months of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
