As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol Driver in Reno, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol government locations, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. This position is both armed and driving, requiring you to respond promptly to situations while delivering exceptional customer service. You will play a key role in upholding our values of teamwork, reliability, and integrity, all while supporting a secure environment for the community.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding appropriately to emergencies as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following protocols established for government locations.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or security-related incidents in and around the location.
  • Assist visitors and employees by providing information and guidance as needed, while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Work closely with local law enforcement and emergency personnel when required, supporting the security-related needs of the location.
  • Complete thorough and accurate reports on all incidents, patrol activities, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least one year of experience in armed security, law enforcement, or military is required.
  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • CPR and first aid certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
