As a Security Officer - Armed Financial Institution Patrol in Cincinnati, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols at financial institution locations. This role requires both armed and driving responsibilities, as you remain visible throughout your assigned areas, support a secure environment, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, verifying credentials and assisting with access control as required.
• Maintain detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or any unusual occurrences observed during patrols.
• Interact with law enforcement and emergency personnel when necessary, following established protocols for armed security-related posts.
• Remain alert and prepared to respond to potential threats or emergencies, utilizing training in armed response as appropriate for the environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least one year of armed security-related experience, law enforcement experience, and/or military experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
