As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a bustling retail location, you will conduct routine patrols and maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter theft and/or disturbances within the retail environment.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services during incidents or as directed by site protocols.
• Perform security-related duties in accordance with Allied Universal standards and site-specific requirements for armed patrol posts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification for Texas roles only.
• CPR Certification is preferred.
• A Guard Card or License is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
