As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical or petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for chemical and petrochemical locations.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards specific to chemical and petrochemical environments.
  • Monitor access points and screen individuals entering and exiting the location to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain compliance with site-specific requirements.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and/or suspicious activities according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and emergency responders during incidents and drills to support a coordinated response.
  • Remain alert to environmental and operational risks unique to chemical and petrochemical locations, reporting any concerns promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A Transportation Security Administration issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential is required.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
