As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and provide outstanding customer service while patrolling a retail location. This driving and armed post involves regular patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and responding to situations as they arise. What You'll Do:

• Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies at the retail location while providing customer service to clients and visitors.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate emergency response activities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail store and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible presence.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences while on duty.
• Work collaboratively with store personnel and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns and support a positive environment for customers and staff.
• Remain alert and aware of surroundings, reporting any suspicious behavior or activities to the appropriate authorities or management.
• Adhere to all company and client policies regarding the carrying and handling of firearms, maintaining professionalism and discretion at all times.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
