As a Security Officer in Watertown, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting visible patrols and monitoring assigned government locations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and sound judgment.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues.
• Monitor access points and control entry to restricted areas, verifying credentials as required by site protocols.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related concerns, or property damage to the appropriate authorities and Allied Universal management.
• Assist law enforcement or emergency personnel when requested, maintaining professionalism and composure at all times.
• Complete detailed written reports and documentation of all incidents, patrols, and security-related activities as required by Allied Universal and site management.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide reassurance to authorized personnel and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
