What You'll Do:

• Provide excellent customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the chemical and petrochemical location, including the business areas and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, entrances, and exits to help to deter unauthorized entry or suspicious behavior.
• Report and document any unusual activity, security-related incidents, or hazards observed during patrols.
• Assist with emergency response activities as required, following site-specific instructions and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, team members, and visitors to support a secure environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
