As a Security Officer - Facility Patrols FT in Williamsburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic food and beverage location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. You'll interact with staff and visitors, responding to situations as needed, all while upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and putting people first in a caring and innovative environment.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or conditions within the food and beverage location.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or vendors to address questions and provide assistance as needed.
• Document all incidents and/or irregularities according to Allied Universal procedures and client requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
