As a Security Officer - Healthcare Site Unarmed Patrol in Brooklyn, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a government healthcare location, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a welcoming presence. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of staff, visitors, and patients at the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and monitor for unusual conditions.
• Observe and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.
• Work collaboratively with law enforcement or emergency responders during incidents as required by site protocols.
• Maintain a visible Allied Universal presence to help to deter unwanted behavior and promote a secure environment within the location.
• Assist with access control procedures, including verifying identification and monitoring entrances and exits as directed by site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proof of vaccination is required for this hospital site.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
