What You'll Do:

• Provide excellent customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations within the healthcare location in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order and assist those in need.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
• Assist with access control, visitor management, and monitoring of entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access within the healthcare environment.
• Support emergency response efforts, including assisting with evacuations or providing directions to emergency responders as directed by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
