As a Security Officer - Access Control Specialist in Milwaukee, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, assisting with access control, and providing exceptional customer service. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Document and report any unusual observations, incidents, or security-related concerns according to site protocols.
• Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to address security-related needs specific to the food and beverage environment.
• Maintain awareness of the unique requirements and potential risks associated with the food and beverage location.

Minimum Requirements:

• You must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
