As a Security Officer - Armed Retail Site - Full Time in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a bustling retail location, you will conduct regular patrols, remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail environment and its perimeter, observing for any unusual activity.
• Assist with access control, verifying identification and/or credentials as required by the location's policies.
• Monitor for potential hazards or suspicious behavior and report findings to the appropriate parties.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity and/or theft through visible presence and attentive patrols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal protocols.
• Collaborate with location staff and/or management to address security-related concerns and provide assistance as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Level III armed certification is required for positions in Texas only.
• CPR and first aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
