As a Security Officer - Warehouse Access Control in Santa Fe Springs, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and maintain order within a dynamic logistics and distribution location. Your responsibilities include monitoring entry points, conducting routine patrols, and providing outstanding customer service to staff and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including access control measures at the logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or breaches of site protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the logistics and distribution environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the site and perimeter to help to deter potential issues and identify any irregularities.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or unusual activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client procedures.
• Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate, supporting the overall security-related operations for the logistics and distribution location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
