Job Description


As a Security Officer - Mall Driving Patrol in Little Rock, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail and mall locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing visible support. You will interact with the public to deliver outstanding customer service and clear communication. This driving post allows you to play a key role in maintaining a welcoming atmosphere, working within a team that values agility, reliability, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the retail or mall location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail/mall premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activities or hazards encountered during patrols in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
  • Support access control procedures by monitoring entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Maintain clear and accurate documentation of activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences as required by site procedures.
  • Collaborate with site management and local law enforcement as needed to address incidents or emergencies within the location.
  • Assist with crowd management and customer inquiries, providing directions and information to visitors as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • CPR or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
