Job Description


As a Security Officer - Industrial Access Entry in Fountain Inn, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, patrol designated areas, and help to deter security-related incidents. Your presence and attention to detail will contribute to a secure environment for employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

  • Control access to the location by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors in accordance with site-specific procedures.
  • Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or activities.
  • Provide customer service by assisting individuals with inquiries and directions related to access procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and perimeter to observe for security-related concerns and report irregularities.
  • Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and site policies.
  • Collaborate with site management and local authorities as needed to address security-related matters.
  • Support emergency response activities when appropriate, following site-specific guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
