As a Security Officer - Warehouse Site Patrol Driver in Matteson, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and remaining visible in a tech and media location. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post and requires a valid driver's license, as you will drive during patrols. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond appropriately to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and surrounding areas to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Assist employees, visitors, and/or contractors by providing information and guidance as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
• Support the enforcement of access control procedures to help to deter unauthorized entry or activity within the location.
• Document incidents, observations, and/or daily activities in accordance with company and client requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
