As a Security Officer - Tech Facility Patrols Unarmed in De Soto, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a dynamic technology environment. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication to all on site. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including the business premises and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for unusual or suspicious behavior and report observations according to company protocols.
• Assist visitors and employees with directions and general inquiries while maintaining a professional presence.
• Document and report all security-related incidents, hazards, and maintenance concerns encountered during patrols.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site staff to support security-related operations at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
