As a Security Officer - Entry Screening Logistics in Romeoville, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas. Your presence and attention to detail support a secure environment for staff and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Carry out screening procedures for personnel, packages, and/or vehicles entering the logistics and distribution location, following site-specific protocols.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors, drivers, and staff with inquiries and directing them as needed.
• Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and report any suspicious activity to appropriate authorities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Document and report all screening activities, incidents, and irregularities according to site and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Work closely with logistics and distribution staff to support security-related operations and maintain a secure environment.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with all individuals at the location, maintaining a courteous and helpful presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
