As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail or mall locations to help to deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment for visitors and staff. You will conduct regular patrols, remain visible throughout the property, and provide outstanding customer service while communicating clearly with guests and team members. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail or mall location, including both interior and exterior areas, to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, suspicious activity, or unauthorized persons within the location.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding incidents or security-related concerns.
• Assist with access control, helping to monitor entrances and exits to support a secure environment within the retail or mall setting.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner as directed by Allied Universal policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
