Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service and clear communication. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and play a key role in fostering a secure environment, all while upholding our values of teamwork, reliability, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or potential threats within the location, including areas where sensitive technology and media equipment may be present.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required by site-specific protocols.
• Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergencies or drills, following established response procedures.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs of patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
