As a Security Guard - Residential Entry Patrol in Rye, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Monitor and control access to the residential location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized individuals.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as needed to the appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal protocols.
  • Maintain a visible presence at access points to help to deter potential risks and provide assistance to those entering or exiting the location.
  • Collaborate with residents, visitors, and staff to address security-related concerns and provide guidance as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
