As a Security Guard - Flex Patrol Driver in Columbus, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver license as you conduct routine patrols and interact with staff and visitors, providing outstanding customer service while upholding Allied Universal's values of integrity, teamwork, and care.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents within the location, documenting details as required by Allied Universal protocols.
  • Work collaboratively with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to address security-related matters specific to an aero and defense environment.
  • Assist with controlling access to restricted areas, verifying credentials and monitoring entry points as outlined in site procedures.
  • Support emergency response efforts by following established protocols and coordinating with local authorities when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Previous firefighting experience is required.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
