As a Security Officer - Patient Care Patrol in Fishersville, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming presence. Your role includes conducting routine patrols, remaining visible to support a secure environment, and providing excellent customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding appropriately to emergencies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment within the healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and support the well-being of staff, patients, and visitors.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or suspicious activity according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Assist with access control procedures and visitor management as required within the healthcare environment.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff and first responders as needed during incidents and/or emergencies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
