What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and residents by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the residential location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist residents and visitors with directions or information as needed while maintaining a visible presence.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal management and local authorities as required for security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.
• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
