As a Security Officer - Healthcare Campus Patrol in Oxford, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff. By staying visible and engaging with those on-site, you help to deter security-related incidents while delivering exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating as necessary according to established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences to site management and Allied Universal supervision.
  • Assist with emergency response activities, such as guiding individuals to designated areas and coordinating with emergency personnel as needed.
  • Provide support during visitor and/or patient interactions, offering assistance and information as appropriate while maintaining professionalism.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
