As a Security Guard - Retail Entry Point in Salisbury, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a distribution-focused retail location, you will monitor entrances and exits, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents. Your presence and attention to detail will promote a secure atmosphere while providing outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering and exiting the distribution facility to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors and responding to inquiries in a professional manner.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential security-related concerns.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by site-specific policies.
• Support emergency response activities when appropriate, following Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
• Communicate and collaborate with site staff and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
