As a Security Officer - Access Control Desk in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor and control access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Document and report any suspicious activities, incidents, or breaches of site policies to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.
  • Assist visitors and employees with inquiries and directions as needed while maintaining security-related protocols.
  • Follow site-specific post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal and/or client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • A Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by TSA is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
