As a Security Officer - Access Control Logistics Driver in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with staff and visitors, and provide outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access at entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized individuals from entering restricted areas within the logistics and distribution location.
• Verify credentials and identification of individuals entering the premises, maintaining accurate records of all visitors and personnel.
• Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting employees, visitors, and vendors with site-specific procedures and protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established Allied Universal protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and report any irregularities to management.
• Support emergency response activities as required, coordinating with local authorities and Allied Universal management as needed.
• Document all security-related activities, incidents, and observations in detailed written reports for site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
