As a Security Guard - Flex Media Campus in Chantilly, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading Tech/Media/Telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible to those onsite. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and contribute to a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unwanted activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, observations, and incidents encountered during patrols.
  • Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or local law enforcement when incidents or suspicious activities occur.
  • Assist visitors, employees, and contractors by providing information and direction as needed while maintaining access control procedures.
  • Monitor and report any irregularities, such as equipment malfunctions or unauthorized persons on the premises.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
  • Possess an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be certified in CPR. This may be completed post hire.
  • Be certified in first aid and/or CPR. This may be completed post hire.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
