As a Security Guard - Utility Patrol Full Time in San Ramon, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an unarmed patrol professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated utility locations to help maintain a secure environment. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents, while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor for irregular or unusual activity within the utilities environment and report findings according to site protocols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
• Document observations, incidents, and/or activities in accordance with company and client requirements.
• Support access control procedures to help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and first aid skills are preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
