As a Security Officer - Media Access Control Specialist in Hazel Park, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will be responsible for monitoring and controlling entry to a dynamic tech environment. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to the premises, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the location.
• Enforce site-specific policies and procedures related to access control for a technology-focused environment.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and contractors with access-related questions and concerns.
• Respond to incidents and security-related situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
• Document and report all security-related incidents, irregularities, or breaches of access control protocols.
• Collaborate with site staff and/or local law enforcement as needed during emergencies or incidents.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any unusual activity or potential threats to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
