As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal in a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and provide a visible security-related presence.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas within the retail environment to help to deter theft and unauthorized access.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and any security-related activities as required by site policies.
  • Work collaboratively with retail staff and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns and support a positive environment for customers and employees.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
