As a Security Officer - Armed Shopping Center Driver in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct active patrols throughout a retail location, providing a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This role requires both armed and driving responsibilities, offering the opportunity to interact with the public and deliver outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the retail location.
• Respond to incidents and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, while maintaining a professional presence.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the retail environment and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter theft and/or other criminal activity.
• Assist with emergency response activities as needed, following Allied Universal protocols and site-specific guidelines.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or irregularities in a timely manner.
• Interact with store employees, visitors, and/or customers to provide information and support as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Level III Armed Certification Texas only required.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
