As a Security Officer - Access Control Logistics in San Bernardino, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with staff and visitors, manage access points, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at logistics and distribution locations.
• Monitor and control access to the facility, verifying credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Assist with emergency response activities as required by site procedures and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or unusual occurrences according to site and company protocols.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and delivery personnel to support a secure environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
