As a Security Officer - Gated Community Entry Monitor in Newport Beach, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a prestigious residential location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entrances, conducting routine patrols, and maintaining a visible presence throughout the community. You will interact with residents and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while upholding Allied Universal's values of teamwork, integrity, and innovation. This is a driving post, requiring you to operate a vehicle as part of your daily responsibilities.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the residential location.
• Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity within the community.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
• Conduct regular and random security-related patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter and report irregularities.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences as required by site policies.
• Communicate professionally and clearly with residents, guests, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
• Assist with emergency response activities and coordinate with local authorities as needed, in accordance with site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
