As a Security Guard - Armed Chemical Patrol in Midland, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer at a chemical or petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is an armed and driving post, where you will interact with employees and visitors while delivering exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide excellent customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for any unusual conditions.
• Monitor chemical and petrochemical areas for compliance with site protocols and report any security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and site requirements.
• Work collaboratively with site personnel and emergency responders as needed to support security-related operations.
• Maintain awareness of site-specific hazards and follow all protocols related to chemical and petrochemical locations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Level III armed certification is required for positions in Texas only.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
