Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Armed Security Officer for a State Facility in Boston MA

Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday 11 PM - 7 AM

Starting Pay is $25.88 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training 

Candidate is Required to Have a Concealed Carry Permit and 1+ Years of Previous Security Experience


As a Security Officer in Boston, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer, where you will help to deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment for a prominent government location. You will conduct visible patrols and interact with the public, providing exceptional customer service and communication. This role requires a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit, and you will be part of a team that values integrity, innovation, and putting people first.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate judgement and training.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including exterior and interior areas, to help to deter unauthorized activities and support a secure environment.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas to help to deter potential threats and maintain awareness of surroundings.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of incidents, patrols, and observations according to Allied Universal protocols.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency personnel when required.
  • Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies or unusual situations, following established procedures specific to the government location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess a valid Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
