Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Security Officer for a State Facility in Boston MA

Sunday - Thursday 7 AM - 3 PM

Starting Pay is $21.50 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training 

Candidate is Required to Have 1+ Years of Previous Security Experience


As a Security Officer - in Boston, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help create a secure environment for all occupants. Your visible presence and attentive customer service will help to deter security-related incidents while fostering positive interactions. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents according to company and client protocols.
  • Assist visitors and employees with questions and provide directions or information as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Work collaboratively with Allied Universal management and local authorities as needed to support security-related operations at the government location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
