As a Security Guard - Retail Patrol Driver in Santa Fe, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors. Your visible presence and commitment to exceptional customer service will play a key role in supporting a secure environment. This position requires driving as part of your regular duties, offering a dynamic and engaging workday.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a positive experience for patrons.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance issues within the location to the appropriate personnel.
• Support access control procedures by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials as required by site policy.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations while on duty.
• Assist with crowd management and/or customer flow during busy periods or special events at the location.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with team members, site staff, and visitors as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
