As a Security Guard - Armed Patrol Financial Site in Saint Johns, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading financial institution, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents within the location. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation techniques when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including the business interior and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe for suspicious behaviors or potential security-related concerns within the location.
• Document incidents and maintain detailed reports of patrols, observations, and interactions as required by site protocols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary, following established communication procedures.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to employees, visitors, and clients within the financial institution environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
