As a Security Officer - Tech Driver Patrol Full-Time in San Jose, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence at a leading tech location. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing outstanding customer service while upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and innovation. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order within the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential threats.
• Observe and report any unusual conditions, incidents, or security-related breaches in accordance with company and client protocols.
• Assist visitors and employees by providing information and guidance as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal management and client representatives to address site-specific needs and concerns.
• Maintain accurate records and logs of activities, incidents, and patrols as required by site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
