What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential threats.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related breaches, or hazards encountered during patrols.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and/or emergency personnel when required, following established protocols.
  • Document all activities, incidents, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal and client guidelines.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related concerns and provide reassurance to employees and visitors at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Graduate of Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or equivalent is required.
  • One or more of the following is required: one or more years of law enforcement experience, or two or more years of security supervisor or manager experience, or three or more years of security-related experience.
  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
