As a Screener in a healthcare location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, and remaining visible to provide reassurance to staff, patients, and visitors. What You'll Do:

  • Greet and screen individuals entering the healthcare location, following site-specific policies and protocols for admittance.
  • Provide excellent customer service while carrying out security-related procedures and responding to inquiries from visitors, patients, and staff.
  • Monitor entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized access and/or prohibited items.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating when appropriate according to site procedures.
  • Maintain awareness of the environment and report any unusual activity, concerns, or emergencies to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with enforcing health guidelines, such as mask mandates or visitor restrictions, as directed by site policies.
  • Document and communicate relevant information and/or incidents to Allied Universal management and site leadership as required.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Have supervisory experience.
  • Be able to provide vaccine documentation as required for hospital settings.
  • Be able to work in a hospital morgue environment.
  • Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
