As a Security Officer - Distribution Institution Patrol - Full Time in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols and interact with staff and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Conduct screening of personnel, vehicles, and/or packages entering or exiting the logistics and distribution location, following site-specific procedures.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors, contractors, and employees with inquiries and directing them as appropriate.
• Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as needed according to protocols.
• Document and report any irregularities, security-related incidents, or breaches of protocol to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and site contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to observe and report potential security-related concerns.
• Assist with emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal or site management, following established protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
